So what is a radio motor remote control system? How does it work? What can it be used for?

Firstly, let's see what radio remote control system is. Radio remote control is a remote control device to control distant objects by wireless signal. By using radio remote control system, you can control many mechanical or electronic devices to complete various operations, such as closing circuit, move handle, start motor, etc. It is widely used for controlling garage door, electric gate, and automatic barrier and so on.

A radio remote control system commonly has two parts: transmitter (or we call it remote control) and receiver (or we call it controller). Press the button on the transmitter; it will transmit a radio signal. After the receiver within a certain distance receives the signal, it will identify the signal and then start the operation.

Motor remote control system is especially for controlling the motor, non-reversing motor or reversing motor. For non-reversing motor, motor remote control is applied to control the operation of on / off. For reversing motor, you can rotate the motor in the positive or reversal direction with the transmitter of motor remote control system, from any place within a reliable distance. It is generally used for motors of conveyors, awnings, winches; or electrically operated doors/windows/blinds or other mechanicals and appliances.

Take motor of awning for example; next we will talk about how motor remote control system works.

Looking at the first picture, it is a motor of awning.

 

The second picture is a DC power motor remote control system: transmitter and receiver. Button ? on transmitter & receiver is for UP function; button ? on transmitter & receiver is for DOWN function; button ? on transmitter & receiver is for STOP function.

 

In the third picture, you can see clearly the wire connection of receiver. Connect the "+" and the "?" to the "IN" and connect DC motor to the "OUT". You can exchange output wires of the motor to change rotating direction of the motor.

 

See the forth picture:
Press button ? on remote control or receiver: Output of "Up" directly power DC12V (or 24V), motor rotates continuously in the positive direction.
Press button ? on remote control or receiver: Output of "Down" directly power DC12V (or 24V), motor rotates continuously in the reversal direction.
Press button ? on remote control or receiver to stop the motor.
